Source BioScience Healthcare can support your histopathology service

We provide a complete histology reporting service for your pre-prepared slides or wet samples through our  CPA accredited laboratories and network of support Consultant Histopathologists. We can -

• Fill in for temporary staff absence  or temporary staff shortage  whilst you are recruiting
• Undertake Duty of Care using our panel of specialist histopathologists
• Offer longer term support for additional workloads for example in the bowel screening program
• Cut up and process wet samples in our CPA  accredited  labs under pathologist supervision 
• Ensure a quick response. Our Turn Around Times are usually 3-7 days for pre prepared slides and 5-10 days for wets.
• Offer a dedicated team for the daily handling and tracking of all slides and samples.
• Provide secure electronic access to the reports for your hospital, through our secure Portal Access (SPA)

We can offer  a single uniform price for all your work or a price per sample whichever suits you best.

Our service is easy to use - one phone call and we will arrange a courier delivery of our special  slide transport boxes and then arrange a courier pick up as soon as slides are ready for collection. We will also arrange prompt return of the slides

All reviews are carried out in accordance with GMC and RCPath guidelines. This aspect of our business provides confidence in diagnosis and channels knowledge in to other pathology centres adding to the skill base and improving awareness of uncommon cases.
